BRAND GROWTH PARTNER
Building the brand before the business grows into it.
Role
Long-Term Brand Growth Partner
Overview
When I first met Lavender Life, it was a lavender farm with great products and an ambitious founder. The question wasn't how to market what existed. It was what the company was actually becoming.
Through customer research, positioning work, brand development, content strategy, and long-term stewardship, we built a brand around that future state. Over the years that followed, the business grew into a multi-million dollar lifestyle brand, expanded its physical footprint, and scaled its charitable mission into what is now the Xander Community nonprofit.
01 — The opportunity
The business hiding inside the business
The products were really good. The founder was capable. The opportunity was larger than either.
Research consistently pointed toward something bigger than a lavender farm: a lifestyle brand rooted in comfort, family, gifting, hospitality, and purpose.
The challenge was creating a brand capable of supporting that future before it fully existed.
02 — What I led
Building toward the future state
- —Customer and market research
- —Brand positioning and identity evolution
- —Product marketing and merchandising
- —Content strategy and creative direction
- —Social and email growth programs
- —Long-term brand stewardship
03 — Outcome
The vision became real
Over time, the business expanded from product sales into a destination experience, a recognizable lifestyle brand, and a mission-driven organization.
The strongest proof of the strategy was not a campaign metric. It was watching the company grow into the version we had originally imagined.
04 — Evidence of growth
What the strategy produced
Multi-Million Dollar Brand
Growth supported through years of strategic brand stewardship
$1M Production Facility
Purpose-built barn, retail experience, and production operation
Long-Term Customer Loyalty
Audience built through consistency rather than reinvention
Xander Community Launched
Charitable initiative scaled into an independent nonprofit
Brand in the real world
Identity, experience, marketing, and community.
The work extended well beyond a logo — into customer experience, product presentation, content, and a charitable mission that became its own organization.

Founder Perspective
“Over the years Amy has become a trusted strategic partner to our business. She has helped shape our brand, marketing, customer experience, and growth strategy. Most importantly, she understands who we are and where we're trying to go.”
